Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Astronova, operated by Nilay Rajderkar (“Astronova”, “we”, “us”), governing your use of the Astronova website and app at astronova.club (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. What Astronova is — and is not
Astronova generates astrology readings (based on Krishnamurti Paddhati and Vedic methods) and lets you chat with an AI guide. Readings are provided for personal insight, self-reflection, and entertainment only. They are not professional advice. Nothing on the Service is medical, psychological, legal, financial, or relationship advice, and it is no substitute for a qualified professional. Astrological interpretations are not scientifically proven and predictions are not guaranteed. Any decision you make based on the Service is your own responsibility.
If you are in crisis or may harm yourself or others, contact your local emergency number or a crisis line immediately (for example, dial or text 988 in the US, 116 123 in the UK/EU for Samaritans, or 112 across the EU). The Service is not a crisis or health service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using it you confirm that you are 18 or older and legally able to enter into these Terms. The Service is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
3. Your account
- Provide accurate information and keep your password confidential.
- You are responsible for activity under your account.
- One account per person; do not share or transfer your account.
- Tell us promptly at support@astronova.club if you suspect unauthorized use.
4. Birth details and information about other people
To produce a reading, you provide birth details — name, gender, and date, time, and place of birth. In the Love Match feature you may also enter another person’s birth details (a “partner”). You confirm that you have the right to provide any third party’s information and, where required by law, that you have their consent. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter, and you agree not to enter another person’s sensitive data without a lawful basis to do so.
5. Your content and our license
You keep ownership of the details, questions, and messages you submit (“Your Content”). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to store and process Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service for you — including sending it to our AI provider to generate readings and replies, and saving your chats and profile so they reload when you return. We do not sell Your Content and we do not use it to serve third-party ads.
6. AI-generated content
Readings, chat replies, and interpretations are generated by an AI model and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inconsistent. Treat them as one perspective, not as fact. Do not rely on AI output for important decisions without independent verification.
7. Purchases, credits, and refunds
What you can buy. Astronova sells one-time packs, never subscriptions, so you are charged only when you choose to buy. A pack adds credits to your account: questions for the Sage, partner matches (Love Match), and, for the Complete Life Reading, access to your full life reading. Each pack’s contents and price are shown before you pay. New accounts also receive free questions, which have no cash value.
Who sells to you. Payments are handled by Dodo Payments, our online reseller and Merchant of Record. Dodo Payments is the seller of record for your purchase: it charges your payment method, collects any applicable tax, and issues your receipt, and its own terms and privacy policy apply to checkout. We never see or store your card details.
Prices and taxes. Prices are quoted in US dollars. At checkout, Dodo Payments may show the price in your local currency based on your billing address, and adds any applicable sales tax, VAT, or GST. The final total is shown before you confirm payment.
How credits work. Credits are added to your account as soon as your payment is confirmed, and they never expire. Each answer from the Sage uses one question and each new partner match uses one match. A question or match that fails, or that the Sage declines to answer, does not use a credit. Credits are personal to your account: they have no cash value and cannot be transferred, resold, or exchanged for money.
All sales are final. Because credits are a digital service delivered immediately, every purchase is final and non-refundable, including unused credits, except where:
- you were charged but the credits were not added to your account;
- you were charged more than once for the same purchase;
- the charge was not authorized by you; or
- the law where you live requires a refund.
To claim one of these, email support@astronova.club within 30 days of the charge with your account email and receipt. Approved refunds are paid by Dodo Payments to your original payment method. Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank, so we can fix it quickly.
Right of withdrawal (EEA and UK). Consumers in the EEA and UK normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase. By completing a purchase you ask us to deliver your credits immediately and acknowledge that you lose this right of withdrawal once they are added to your account.
Closing your account. If you delete your account, any remaining credits are deleted with it and are not refunded. If we shut down the Service, we will refund the unused portion of credits you paid for.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service unlawfully or to harass, defraud, or harm anyone;
- enter another person’s data without the right to do so;
- attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer, or scrape the Service;
- resell or commercially exploit readings or the Service without our written permission;
- present AI output as professional advice to others.
9. Intellectual property
The Service, its software, design, and the astrological engine are owned by Astronova and protected by law. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service. You may keep and use your own readings for personal, non-commercial purposes.
10. Third-party services
The Service integrates third parties — for example Google Sign-In, our AI provider, Dodo Payments for checkout, and our email and hosting providers (listed in the Privacy Policy). Your use of those features may be subject to their own terms; we are not responsible for third-party services.
11. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any reading is accurate or fit for a particular purpose. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Astronova will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any decisions you make based on the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD 50. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (such as for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or fraud).
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Astronova against claims arising from your misuse of the Service, your breach of these Terms, or your submission of another person’s data without the right to do so.
14. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account and all of its data yourself from your account menu (or by contacting support@astronova.club). We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms or to protect the Service. On termination your right to use the Service ends; the sections that by their nature should survive (ownership, disclaimers, liability, indemnity) will survive.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. If we make material changes we will update the “last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
16. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law rules, and disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in California, unless mandatory law in your country of residence gives you other rights.
Before starting any formal dispute, please contact us at support@astronova.club so we can try to resolve it informally. If you are a consumer in the EEA or UK, nothing here removes the mandatory legal protections or the courts of your country of residence available to you, and you may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform.
17. General
- Entire agreement: these Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service.
- Severability: if any provision is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
- No waiver: if we do not enforce a right, that is not a waiver of it.
- Assignment: you may not transfer your rights under these Terms; we may transfer ours in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice.
- Force majeure: we are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
